Suffrage Sites Added to Trail

The National Votes for Women Trail is at http://ncwhs.org/votes-for-women-trail/#trail. It is a virtual (online) trail and a good idea. I noticed that it had no South Shore suffrage sites (nice alliteration!) and few of the sites I have been working on. So I spent a day filling out forms online and yesterday entered about 14 sites. Today, many have shown up. Yay! If you zoom in on the map you can see some of them (covered elsewhere on this website). And Scituate is on the map, for the final resting place of suffragists Inez Haynes Irwin and her husband Will Irwin.

You can submit other sites. It is pretty easy.

Just a quick shout-out for Buttonwood Books in Cohasset, which is carrying my book. They have a great selection, including a section for local authors, and they are responsive. Check them out!
